SAVANNAH, GA – October 16, 2019 – The Two Hundred Club of the Coastal Empire has partnered with the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes (LFWMH) to host an Inaugural Polo 4 Heroes on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Rose Hill Equestrian Center, 1 Equestrian Way Bluffton.

Whether it’s the Two Hundred Club providing college tuition for fallen first responders’ dependents or LFWMH helping a wounded veteran gain access to physical therapy, both of these local nonprofit charities serve those who make enormous sacrifices to keep the community safe. The Polo 4 Heroes event aims to support this common mission with an event centered around the backdrop of the “Sport of Kings.” Attendees can spend a nice fall day socializing and enjoying food, drinks, fashion and more in a fun “upscale tailgate” type setting.

Gates open at 12:30 p.m. and at 1:30 p.m. there will be a Grand Opening Ceremony featuring the Special Operations Parachute Team, presentation of the flag by Honor Guards, singing of the National Anthem, a Proclamation from the governor, and more. The featured polo match will commence shortly thereafter, at around 2:30 p.m.

Both organizations rely on the generosity and support of residents, businesses and organizations. The Polo 4 Heroes event offers many opportunities to get involved and provide support. Since this event is a complete volunteer effort, all the net proceeds will benefit the Two Hundred Club and the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes and their mission to support the needs of our men and women in uniform: police officers, firefighters, EMTs and military members.

Interested parties can become official sponsors and choose from a number of packages varying in price from $50 – $10,000, each with varying benefits.  In addition to these options, supporters can purchase raffle tickets, advertisements in the program, and special VIP packages. General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate and may be purchased at
