SAVANNAH, GA – October 2, 2019 – Step One Automotive Group will celebrate the grand opening its new off-road Jeep Homeland course in Savannah by hosting a special event benefiting Saving Forgotten Warriors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting US Military Veterans. The event will also offer Jeep enthusiasts the chance to experience the Georgia debut of FCA Concept Jeeps Sandstorm, Nacho and Quicksand, as these unique vehicles will be on display for the first time since being unveiled on a Detroit stage.

This free family-friendly event, slated for 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat North Savannah, 1011 Chatham Center Dr., will include live music, food trucks, raffle prizes, test drives, kids’ entertainment, fireworks and more. City of Savannah officials, and Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Bill Hubbard, are expected to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at 12 p.m. along with representatives from Jeep National, Jeep Jamboree USA, and FCA Regional Center.

The Jeep Homeland stage will host live musical performances by Coffee&Cream: Laiken Love and Gretchen Stelzer, The Blues Band Factor, and A Nickel Bag of Funk. Food truck choices will include Gnam Gnam Gelato of Savannah, Diplomat Luncheonette, Meat & Eat BBQ, Chazito’s Latin Cuisine, and Pie Society among others.

“We invite the community to come out for a fun family day, not only to celebrate our new Jeep Homeland course, but also to support Saving Forgotten Warriors,” said Step One Automotive Group Marketing Manager Maja Ciric. “This new course is a Jeep owner’s dream and we are sure everyone will enjoy it!”

This free event will offer the special opportunity for attendees to see and drive on the unique, one-of-a-kind Jeep Homeland course, which features 800 tons of granite boulders, log piles, and a 30’ mountain climb for Jeep enthusiasts to enjoy. There will also be opportunities to win special prizes, including a raffle for the chance to win dinner and the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator for a weekend.
