SPIRIT OF PEACE CHURCH TO PARITICPATE IN TREATS FOR YOUR STREET EVENT FOR RICHMOND HILL NEIGHBORHOOD

LFPR - October 23, 2020 - 0 comments

RICHMOND HILL, GA – October 23, 2020 – Spirit of Peace Lutheran Church, along with 7 other churches across all denominations, is participating in this year’s “Treats for Your Street” event held by New Life Church. Spirit of Peace will pass out candy for all to enjoy during this Halloween-inspired walking/driving parade on Wednesday, October 28 from 5-7 p.m. in the Creekside neighborhood.

Participants can dress in their best Halloween attire or costumes. The church has partnered with All Things Chocolate and More to bring a walking “strawberry mascot” to join in the festivities.

“Members of our congregation wanted to join in this initiative started by New Life Church to provide a unique and fun outlet for the children and families of Richmond Hill to still have a safe Halloween in the midst of COVID-19,” said Pastor Devin Strong. “We hope that members of our community can join us for this special Halloween event!”

This event is free and open to the public. The church is looking for volunteers to walk in the parade and pass out candy, and for donations of Halloween candy so there is enough for everyone. For more information about this event, please call Laura Quijada at 314-973-4792 or the church office at 912-727-5608 or email tara@spiritofpeacelutheran.org.
