McDowell and his husband Gary Shelby, their two dogs, Jasper and Scout, and two cats, Miss B and Shelby, currently reside in Savannah and Tybee Island.

“I am excited and honored to join the Savannah Philharmonic and to work with the talented new Maestro Keitaro Harada,” Fogle said. “The 2019-20 season and beyond are going to be exciting for our organization!”
