RICHMOND HILL, GA – June 1, 2020 – The Richmond Hill City Center will reopen on Tuesday June 2, for events and lunches, strictly adhering to the new guidelines announced by Governor Kemp last week.  The Wilderman Group, owners of the facility, closed the City Center in mid-March as the COVID-19 pandemic hit the nation.

The City Center will reintroduce its $10 lunches every Tuesday and Friday with customers offered a choice of a plated meal as all buffets have been suspended for the foreseeable future.  Staff will be screened for illness and wear masks, regularly sanitize all common areas and restrooms and wash their hands frequently.  In addition, hand sanitizer will be available for the use of patrons. In line with public health advice, there will be at least six feet between groups of diners and each group must not exceed six people. Special events for private groups, such as small weddings or parties, are now allowed as long as they are for no more than 25 people or 35% of the total building occupancy, with social distancing protocols in place.

Kevin Nape, General Manager of the Richmond Hill City Center, commented “We are excited to open our doors and return to offering our patrons great food and service.   We hope that the community will support us and want everybody to know that we take the health and safety of our employees and customers very seriously.  We will be taking every step possible to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appropriate social distancing”.

Located just a few minutes from Pooler, Savannah, Rincon, Hinesville, Bloomingdale and Port Wentworth, the Richmond Hill City Center is primely located near historic wetlands.
