LFPR - July 10, 2017 - 0 comments

I am pleased to say that there is no sign of a seasonal summer slowdown at LFPR although it is important that all of my hard working team schedule time to recharge their batteries on vacation.

We are ramping up for the beginning of the Savannah VOICE Festival’s fifth season which has been extended to three weeks this August and looking back at LFPR’s spring and early summer it has, as usual, been filled with lots of rewarding work and good times.  We recently welcomed our 2017 summer intern – Brennan Perry who is studying PR at Georgia Southern University and we are certainly keeping her busy.  We are thrilled to have been appointed by The Mediation Center of the Coastal Empire working on media relations, social media, design, website updates and maintenance, event planning, copy writing and other marketing initiatives.

The Mediation Center is a wonderful non-profit organization which provides the coastal community with access to mediation and other dispute-resolution methods as an alternative to litigation.

In addition to a fun and memorable ‘English afternoon tea’ which my lovely team surprised me with for my birthday in May, we orchestrated and promoted some great initiatives for our clients.  Empire Construction collaborated with the Rape Crisis Center during Sexual Assault Awareness and hosted a Student Safety Night awareness event and fundraiser to benefit this important charity at one of Empire Construction’s renovations in downtown Savannah.  This was soon followed by The Pregnancy Care Center of Richmond Hill’s inaugural fundraising event, “City Nights at the City Center” which was a great success and which highlighted the work of our talented client – international award-winning photographer Megan Myrick and supporter of the Pregnancy Care Center – who unveiled a new joint initiative, the “Love & Legacy Project”.  More about that and other exciting cultural client news next time……………
