What an amazing summer at LFPR! I am super excited about our growth and success over the last few months as it reminds me of when I had been running my London agency for a few years and we suddenly took a leap to the next level in terms of numbers of staff, clients and accolades. How fortunate I am to have this opportunity twice – on both sides of the Atlantic. America has been good for me both personally and professionally since emigrating here in 2009 and becoming a naturalized citizen in 2012.
We have been fortunate to renew contracts with our existing clients – thank you for continuing to entrust LFPR with handling your communication programs – and to have signed a number of wonderful new clients – some for projects and some for ongoing marketing programs. This summer we have begun working (in chronological order) with the Savannah Classical Academy Charter School, DISMAS Charities, Country Financial, the non-profit organization Grief Sensitive Schools Initiative’s Walk to Remember, the Bulloch County Alcohol and Drug Council and the Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce. Wow. This success is due to my not so secret weapon – a great team of dedicated staff. To recognize their amazing contributions, I have just promoted Hollie Barnidge to Vice President (with special responsibility for public sector to reflect her government experience) and Kristyn Fielding to Senior Account Executive earlier this summer. Thank you both for your hard work, dedication and loyalty. To make sure that we continue to offer excellence in public relations to all our clients it is vital to have enough people! I am delighted that Hayley Larson is joining us as a full time Graphic Web and Print Designer on October 1st and that earlier this summer we welcomed the talented Sally Lowe Whitehead as our part time Writer and Copywriter. It is going to be time for some more new photography of our team again soon!
There are too many client highlights over the last three months to mention them all but memories which stand out to me include: the amazing sixth annual Savannah VOICE Festival which saw the launch of the Savannah Opera Company; the launch of the first annual report for Bryan County – thanks Hollie and Sarah for all your great work in putting this together; Christmas in July for Greenbriar, unveiling great results for The Savannah Classical Academy, the ribbon cutting for Beta One Solutions’ new offices and the fantastic season opener last weekend for Savannah’s Philharmonic to launch its harmonious tenth season. Thank you to our local and regional media for all the amazing coverage we have generated for our clients. We were also pleased to receive the accolade of runner up as Best Public Relations Agency in Savannah Magazine’s Best of annual reader survey – see Hollie and Kristyn celebrating with some of our wonderful clients from Historic Savannah Foundation and Savannah’s Philharmonic in the attached photo.
We are looking forward to a fulfilling and busy fall with the Philharmonic’s Picnic in The Park, American Traditions Vocal Competition’s Tybee concerts and annual fundraiser, Historic Savannah Foundation’s annual gala, Asbury Memorial’s God on Broadway and annual Pecan and Honey Festival, Port Wentworth Chamber’s annual Oyster Roast, Family Promise’s Fall Festival and more! Until next time ………………
