SAVANNAH, Ga. – TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2020 – Georgia Tech-Savannah is slated to present a free online conference – Leading Well: Generational Diversity – introducing its series of Leading Well Workshops from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19.
This webinar is designed for emerging leaders or career professionals who are, or will be, responsible for executing organizational strategy with an integrated view of the organization, in a wide cross-section of industries including those active in business, education, government, nonprofit, and community-based organizations.
Longtime and award-winning educator Melissa Furman, MS, DBA will facilitate this online conference. There are five generations present in today’s workforce and managers are increasingly challenged with the differing mindsets. During this webinar Furman, Founder/Consultant, Career Potential LLC, will address these challenges by offering:
- Strategies for overcoming challenges and enhancing overall productivity, goal achievement, and employee satisfaction
- How to identify, describe, and differentiate generational cohort characteristics, communication, and work styles
- Strategies for overcoming challenges experienced when working with employees from multiple generations
