SAVANNAH, GA – January 21, 2020 – Asbury Memorial Church is slated to host ‘For the Love of Music,’ a special concert featuring compositions for two pianos and voice, at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2020. The concert will take place at the church, located at 1008 East Henry St. (at Waters) in Savannah.
The concert will feature works by Brahms, and Greig and Strauss, as well as movie theme songs. Pianists Sanford Jones and Marvin Keenze, who have been playing piano together for over 60 years, will join forces again as they perform with Soprano Rebecca Flaherty.
Admission to this concert is free, but donations benefiting Asbury Memorial’s mission and various outreach initiatives are encouraged. Light refreshments will be served at the concert’s conclusion. RSVPs are not required to attend, but early arrival is highly recommended to secure seating.
